I would like to make a statement for any Anti-Pit Bull people that might come across our site. By condemning the APBT, you are condemning a symbol of our Country's strength and an important part of our History. In the past, people admired the Courage, Strength and Tenacious Spirit of the APBT. We as Americans, should support this Magnificent Breed and preserve its place in History, rather than try to make it Extinct! Unfortunately, our breed has attracted individuals that use these dogs for undesirable purposes, and uneducated breeders that are not selective about breeding for proper temperament, but you can't just point your finger at the APBT. Many other breeds are subject to the same bad breeding habits, and are worse in comparison, but an attack by a Cocker Spaniel, the #1 biting dog, isn't News worthy. The media makes monsters of our entire breed, from a hand full of bad dogs which are actually the result of irresponsible breeders and owners. In the hands of a responsible educated breeder or owner these dogs are unsurpassed. They excel at any task they are trained for. These dogs are used for herding, hunting, search and rescue, drug enforcement and even therapy dogs, and with nothing more than love and affection they become great companions and protectors. Please help us protect our breed and stand against Breed Specific Legislation which is nothing more than discrimination, if you don't and they get my breed, they'll be coming after yours next!

This is Darcy, a daughter to our Bonnie, Sired by Gideon. Darcy is a perfect example of what we are striving to produce here at Pits in Paradise. Correct Structure, Awesome Temperament, Bully enough to get noticed, but not overdone. Darcy is excelling in Obedience training, as well as Tracking. She is definitely the "Total Package." A big "Thanks" to David Tucker, Darcy's proud owner, for taking such good care of one of our girls.
This is Jada, owned by Patsy Phillips at Maverick Kennels. Jada is also out of Bonnie and Gideon. She is the first from the litter to finish as a UKC Champion, making Bonnie and Gideon proven producers. A big "Thanks" and "Congratulations" to Patsy!
We have owned American Pit Bull Terriers since 1985. Our Bloodline consists of some great local bred dogs as well as Top Show blood from Kennels such as Larum's, Nevada and Empire. All of our dogs are U.K.C. registered or Dual registered U.K.C. and A.D.B.A. Our dogs display excellent Conformation and
Temperament. Having four children makes good temperament a must. Our dogs are very loved and get lots of attention. We play with them daily and they are well socialized with Children and Adults, as well as, with other dogs and animals. Here at
